Welcome to the LPRT website! Our goal is to be an outstanding Team in the Paranormal Field and to help our Clients with free paranormal investigations in the greater Lancaster, Pa. area and more. Our Mission here at LPRT is to give a complete professional investigation to the client covering any and all bases set by those we assist. To provide this service free of charge and to never conclude an investigation until the client is 100% satisfied with the findings. To keep the client's best interests and feelings in mind and to provide proper professional conduct with the public at large. The Lancaster Paranormal Research Team or L.P.R.T. is a team of highly qualified, experienced, and professional paranormal investigators.

 

LPRT provides a quality of scientificly based investigations platformed in which LPRT attempts to explain claims of activity through natural means. What that means is by de-bunking the claims of activity through natural or man-made things, After all the obvious reasons have been exhausted, what ever is left no matter how impossible must be the answer.

   

L.P.R.T. was formed in August of 2008 by Drew and Misty Oberdorf. They have both had numerous paranormal experiences of their own through the years. In 1999 Drew and Misty started researching the paranormal on their own. Trying to get an understanding of the experiences that they have had. In mid 2008 Drew was asked by a friend to investigate his home. Seeing how his friend felt after the investigation and learned about what was really happening in the home, Drew and Misty realized how much they could help people in understanding what may or may not be happening to them and Lancaster Paranormal Research Team was born. In early 2009 Drew was able to get a chance of a life time and got to work with a pioneer in the Paranormal field, Rick Fisher. Drew learned a lot from Rick on the right and wrong way to investigate the paranormal. It has made Drew a better paranormal investigator. Everything that Drew learned from Rick, he brought back to the team and has worked with each team member one on one to help them investigate the best they can.

 

"We do not do this to gain fame, or fortune. We do this because we were there, and we want to help those that feel the way we felt."

 

We are not a business, we do not charge for any investigations. We are not here to make money off of anyone. All our funding come's from our team members donations and Drew and Misty's personal financing. We are simply here to help you understand. We did not form just because of the TV show's. Drew and Misty were doing this before any of these TV show's came out. If we don't have solid proof that your home is haunted then we will tell you, its not haunted. Any evidence That we get from your investigation will be put on a disk for you to keep. At any time after we investigate, you can feel free to contact us at any time if you feel the activity has changed and need us to come back. We will stay in touch with everyone we investigate for and contact you from time to time to see how you are doing, we are here to HELP.

 

L.P.R.T is based in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, and we are willing to travel to other counties and state's (with in reason) to investigate claims of paranormal activity.

 

L.P.R.T. investigates all claims from a scientific standpoint. Our goal is to provide answers for our clients. That can be done either by providing a logical explanation for their experiences, or by confirming that paranormal activity is in fact taking place.

 

There is a lot that is unknown in the paranormal field and the only way to find answers is through long hours of research and documenting the findings.
